Introduction:
We are once again offering pet hosting to current clients. We have limited availability, so please contact us. We will do our best to accommodate you.
We are not a kennel. We offer pet hosting services. If we have hosted your animals before, you will understand. We will only take a few pets at a time so that the service is exclusive and catered to your baby's needs.
Our hosting areas are in our home, not outside in a shelter or temporary building. At RCS, we believe that your fur family is our fur family. They should be socialized and feel safe. Your pets will be free from outside stressors like thunder and loud barking noises. We have a closed camera system at every door and in the back yard. Cameras in our pet hosting areas will help us watch out for barking or meowing at night which will set off a sensor and alert us. Your pets will never be outside alone or in a dirty, muddy, yard unless it is something we cannot control due to weather.
Hosting details:
Your best friends will always have clean areas or kennels, water, fresh food, and much love. Depending on everyone's temperament, they will have free roam of one room, an entire area, or the entire house. See the socialization information below.
Hosting areas will be sanitized after every guest or immediately if there is an accident.
*Drop off is after 12 Noon and pickup is before 5 P.M. Your sweet pet(s) may need to be dropped off a day earlier or picked up a day later to accommodate the drop off and pick up times.
Need flexibility? Our optional pick-up and drop-off service makes things easier on busy days. A visitation fee applies.
All pets must be at least 20 weeks old, potty-trained, and fully vaccinated according to our requirements. See our vaccination policy.
Pet parents will provide RCS with the following:
CATS- Kitty litter, litter pans, nutrition, bowls, and kitty kennels for transportation must be provided. You may bring small cat trees, toys, scratching posts, etc., to help your kitty be comfortable. We will send them home sanitized. Please, no XL motorized litter robots. If your kitty prefers a large kennel for sleeping, we can provide that.
DOGS- Sleeping pads, nutrition, bowls, toys, and anything that makes your pet feel at home.
Socialization while boarding:
If you allow socialization, we will conduct a proper temperament introduction. RCS will monitor animals throughout the process to ensure their safety and welfare. From a distance, we generally look for positive behaviors, like play or curiosity. We are wary of any stress, aggression, or fear indicators since this may cause animals to run or injure themselves. We want all animals to appear receptive to the interaction before it progresses. If an initial introduction fails, we can try again or abandon the option.
